One last thing - this is quite possibly the cleanest gym in which I have ever broken a sweat. Walk in the front door - it smells clean... and without the bleach scent. Beat that!
But they also seem to be genuinely good, friendly people. To me it shows by how invested they are in their members. Just talking to them in their office - every person who walks in the door, they knew each person by name and said hello!
Our neighborhood Anytime Fitness has changed everything for me ~ my fitness, diet, self-esteem, and my opinion about gym-fitness. Love it here!! I have had nothing but negative experience with other gyms. They stink of everyone's sweat, I've witnessed poor hygienic habits of the people who work there and exercise there. Equipment of all kinds but it was so intimidating and no one to walk you thru it UNLESS you were willing to pay for a trainer. THEN THE TRAINERS...don't get me started!!! Nikki and Eddie ~ the owners of my neighborhood AF are the most delightful people! They welcomed me and broke down the barriers of intimidation! And yes, I did hire their trainer WITH NO PRESSURE WHATSOEVER! Heidi is amazing! There just isn't the space to express my feelings towards all these people. I thank God, absolutely, for bringing them here to West Linn and for getting me into that gym. I am stronger, healthier mentally, physically and emotionally because I walked through those doors.
Edit: Seems all the other reviews are about the previous owners. I don't know how long K and H have had the place, but they fixed the music issue as of 2015.
Run by two of the best trainers you could hope for - they recently bought this gym, but have been in the business for some time and it shows; because they really know their stuff! I have asked a few fitness questions, and every time they knew more off the top of their heads than I could remember. I finally gave up on trying to remember and just asked for a training session.
This is a great gym. The staff is friendly, and the equipment is clean and in good condition. After speaking with Kalani I became a member and look forward to attaining my fitness goals in this family like atmosphere.
The owners and staff are extremely friendly and kind. The machines are nice and new, and the facility is well-kept. They are moving to a new location in Lake Oswego soon, and I expect the new location to be great as well.
This is a spotless and perfectly organized gym. Huge windows make you feel like you are outside in this immaculate neighborhood. I have been to many all of over western US and this one is definitely at the top. Only thing missing was a scale.
